Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas everyone! It was a wonderful day for my family and I. My moms side of the family came over and we had lunch and played some games (Getting our butts kicked by my mom at Phase 10, and Dad being the champ and our new ping pong table "Santa" brought us.) We missed our Uncle who had to stay in Oklahoma due to weather here, but we were happy to have my grandma with us during this Christmas time. (And she is doing better, but still not "Grandma")

I broke in my new GLEE wii game and listened to my new GLEE CD and hung up my new GLEE calender and hung up my new GLEE posters. (To answer your question; Yes, I am a Gleek.") But I did get the InStyler, an awesome hat, some boots, Justin Beiber silly bands and some makeup and money. Just what I wanted.
I cant wait for the New Year and start all over again....... hum.... What should I change............ I'll get back to you on that.

Feeding tubes, Thanksgiving, and 6 word memoirs, and the Play

     So those who have been reading my blog you know my grandma is somewhat cancer free And is on feeding tubes, well now she has the option of getting off of them for a hour or two!! We are so thankful and pray that GOD will still be with her as she goes through the next few months of her recovery.
     Last week was Thanksgiving and my family and I drove down to Oklahoma to spend it with our family. This consisted with a 5 coarse meal with leftovers to feed a small country,(it feels like) 500 kids wanting attention from you and well, football! Der! But i had a lot of fun and I'm missing all of you!
     In English his week we are working on memoirs and we had to make a 6 word memoir to sum up our life. My friend came up with "Epiic faile; story of my life!" mine was "when in doubt, sing it out!" but they were all really good and i got a laugh out of a few of them. If you want, post one of your own! All you have to do is keep it in 6 words! (its easier than it sounds...)
     My school put on 2 plays this year for my grade! In the first one I am Mrs.Lichtensteinberger and in the second one I am a Conga dancer and Set Crew. We worked really hard and put on a great play. We had a good time doing it also. We have a lot of inside jokes, a lot of laughs and a Big BIG family. Love you all!      -Griz

Movie Review "Red"

So last night my friends and I went to go see the movie "Red". I personally thought it was slow and they played up too much of the love story part. But the fight scenes were pretty awesome!! I had a lot of fun with my friends, but the movie was 3 stars out of 5.

Busy Schedule!

I am sooo tired! I have the busiest schedule! I barley get to see my home. I hope that I can get my life back after the play is over. Not that I don't love being Mrs.Lichtenstienberger, but I haven't been able to see my family and friends in forever. So while I go sleep, God bless you and have a better week than me.

Cupcake wars!!!

So my Family Consumer Science class at school is requiring us to participate in a cupcake war. We make different cupcakes and put them up for judges to judge us on different things like creativity, if they taste good ex. My group are doing marble cupcakes with Orange frosting and butterflies on top. It's going to be awesome! Wish us luck! -Griz

Feeding Tubes, and a win for My Team!

Last night I went to my teams homecoming. We won, yay!  And I had a really good time. My mom got to stay over at my grandmas last night because my grandma has a feeding tube. She doesn't get to eat or drink anything other than what goes in her stomach through the tube. It looks really cool and spaceagey. She says it feels weird being full all the time but not eating anything. But the "food" that goes in the little bag has to be changed every 3 hours so my mom has to stay over there and help her do that. My grandma is my moms new full time job and I think she wouldn't have it any other way. We love you mommy! Good luck and may the LORD be with you all.

Grandma is HOME!!!!!

So today my grandmother was released from the hospital! My family and I are very thankful that the LORD has heard our prayers. Thank yous go out to everyone that have been praying. Thank you! Also thank you to the WONDERFUL hospital staff that were so helpful to my grandma. I hope only the best for everyone and their families.
      LORD, thank you for hearing our prayers. We are so thankful to have my grandma home. Please be with everyone else who is sick and be with their families. Thank you so much. Amen.

Hospital Visits

Those who know me, know my grandma is in the hospital now. She is there because 1. she has cancer 2. her blood pressure is VERY LOW 3. they can't keep her hydrated and keep liquids in her. So we are thankful for the WONDERFUL staff, nurses, and doctors that are helping her right now. Also all the visitors that have visited and my family for being so strong. I love you all. May the LORD be with her and may she get better SOON. -Griz

Today my mama and I decided it was cold and we need warmer clothes. I got a lot of cute outfits and had a lot of fun. I can't wait to show off my new stuff!

Wow, School and Family worries!

Hey all! It has been a long time since I have logged on... I have started school and wow does it stink! New School and they still don't have the necessities! (I mean, no paper in an English room? Really?) But we are all getting through it. We haven't had a full week of school yet from early outs to Labor Day.... I don't think we will ever have a full week of school!
My Grandma has been diagnosed with lung cancer..... It has been caught VERY early and we are all happy about that. She has gone through her first round of kemo and is on her 2ND week of radiation. We hope she will get better soon.

Back From Camp!

Griz is BACK! I just got back from an awesome Christian camp where I learned sooo much about God! Like he was sent for all people and He wants to have a relationship with us!
I had a lot of fun also because it was also a horse camp! My horses name was Patch and he was a little trouble maker! He liked to roll in the sand and dirt so it took a long time to clean him.
I had a wonderful cabin! Sam, Madison, Maddy, Kelli, Rylee, and Kelani were the girls in my cabin that i lived with for a week. We had some fun and I miss them all. Jennifer was our cabin leader person and she is awesome. May God bless all your lives! I miss you all! (Even Waffle and Josh) I wish I could be with you again. Hope to see you next year!

Triplets!!!

So today my mom and I went over and babysat my dad's co-worker's youngest! They are one-year-old triplets. There's William, Matthew and Paige. There oldest is four and his name is Joshua. They were very sweet and great! I had fun guys! Hope to come back soon!

Camp Packing (The Griz Way)

So its off to summer camp in 1 day! That means packing and much stress! I am going to a Ranch camp so that means a little more packing.
Packing includes:
3 pares of jeans
7pares of shorts
7 shirts
10 socks
and all the other necessaries.
So yeah! But you have to remember, I like to pack other things....... food, journals, pictures..... You know. That stuff! wish me luck getting it all in my suitcase!

Twilight saga Eclipse (Griz Revewz)

Hey all! So I just got back from seeing Eclipse, if you know me, you know the only reason I would go is that of I only want to see Taylor Lautner shirtless. :) I did and let me tell you, not the best movie ever. I still like Harry Potter and i'm not converted to vampire yet. Sorry Tw!l!ght fans.... But I'm still Team Harry Potter. Well that's my review... and CETRIC! What about Cho Chang? I thought you loved HER! Gosh! At least we know Cetric's not dead and hes just going to live forever living off of animals, sparkling in sunlight... :'(!

Storms

Well, its a cloudy rainy day in Iowa. It includes many thunderstorms and my brother and I hiding in our basement! My parents left to go attend a funeral and I'm left to babysit my brother while they are gone! Lets just say, the lights have gone out once, I'm afraid to go up stairs and I want my mom and daddy!!!!! :( They should be home soon..... I better get off, the computer is only one of the few lights we have...... :( Wish me luck!

Babysitting

So over my one year experience with babysitting i have accumulated 4 families. Over this year i have only lost 1 kid (playing hide-and-go-seek) and have only had 1 major injury. Yes, this I know is sad, but i did find her and all I had to do was put a big bandaged on his leg. All is good now..... I hope. :) But the kids I am babysitting tonight (with my friend Char) are the cutest and funniest, but the most annoying! They always want me to hide/ eat/ sit/ play/ you know, be with them. Oh well! Fun anyways. Got to go. I think Jr. is yelling for me!

Swim Update!

I just finished getting my medals and ribbons from my Conference Meet!
100 Breast: 3rd place
100 Free: 8th place
200 Medley Relay: 2nd! (Thanks Maddie Sarah and Mia!)

I'm very Excited that I placed in all of my races! Good luck to all you swimmers out there!!!
Summer Swim is over and I'm very proud of my team! Lets GO RAYS!

HI! My name is Griz. I am a student by day and swimmer by, well, all the time. I do show chior at my school and love to swim when ever i can. (I always say, you dont put me close to a pool and say I cant go in!) My family and I drive every summer from Iowa to Florida in our "Golden Mothership". (My moms minivan.) I concider my self Team Harry Potter and have read all the Harry Potter books, so when we went down to Universial Studios Opening weekend to The World Of Harry Potter, I was very very excited.
